Bestform 2026 presents nine funded design projects from the Canton of Bern, exemplifying the diversity and quality of contemporary design. In a staged dialogue with selected works from the over 150-year-old «Collection of Applied Arts of the Canton of Bern», current design is situated within a historical context. For the annual exhibition of the Berner Design Stiftung, we are developing the visual communication. The underlying concept addresses the idealisation of form and translates the fluid state of the design process into a distinct visual language that extends into the exhibition space. In collaboration with Jens Rossel, a distinctive visual identity is created, unfolding consistently throughout the space.
